Our story
Wethonic began in 2012 as a Bikaner practice started by Piyush Shangari, first known as PS Investment. The idea was simple: give local families the same patient, transparent investment support that big-city investors take for granted.
In May 2022 the business was incorporated as a private limited company, with Piyush Shangari and Priyanka Guglani Shangari as directors. In 2024 it received its AMFI registration as a mutual fund distributor and adopted the Wethonic name.
Today, from our head office in JNV Colony, a team of relationship managers and dealers serves 35,000+ investors — in Bikaner, across India, and NRIs abroad — built on one simple philosophy: Invest. Relax. Repeat.

2012
Piyush Shangari starts out in stock broking in Bikaner. The practice, first known as PS Investment, is where Wethonic's way of working takes shape — one investor, one relationship at a time.

The firm launches its YouTube channel to explain markets, SIPs and risk in plain language for Indian families.

On 24 May 2022 the business is incorporated in Rajasthan, with Piyush Shangari and Priyanka Guglani Shangari as directors.

At the Angel Elite Partners Meet, the firm receives the CMD Award for Top Achiever in the Cash Segment and the CEO Award for Top Acquisition.

The Wethonic app launches on iOS in January. In March, Piyush becomes founding president of BNI Heritage, Bikaner's first BNI chapter. In August the firm receives its AMFI registration as a mutual fund distributor (ARN-307626) and adopts the Wethonic name.

Three awards at the Angel One Elite Meet in Dubai, AMFI registration as a SIF distributor in August, and the ‘Commodity King’ award at Angel One Elite 2025 in Macau.
